DRUM LAMPSHADE PENDANTS! Large scale oversized lamp shades, in a variety of colors and materials, available in diameters up to 48" and any height. Choose a tiered or flaired design or a simple DRUM lamp shade (shown above). The choices are limitless. Trim options include stitching in leather or vinyl, tape binding (on selected styles), or vinyl trim. Design and add a diffuser in one of several options. Many different installation methods available. We have a welder on site to fabricate custom frames and fitters. Hang with a cord or fixed rod, suspend by wires, or mount directly to wall or ceiling. Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Moon Shine Lamp and Shade offers custom lamp shades and custom reproduction tiered fiberglass lampshades in a large variety of lamp shade designs as well as a complete line of lighting fixtures consisting of table lamps, floor lamps, pendants (hanging fixtures or hanging lamps), wall sconces, custom Sputnik lamp ornaments, and a selection of lighting hardware including hanging canopy kits and specialty bulbs. We offer both incandescent and energy efficient GU24 CFL compact fluorescent fixtures. Because our products are intended to be customized, they can be designed to compliment vintage, Eames era, mid century, Swedish and Danish modern, retro, kitsch, atomic, western, rustic, and contemporary settings, as well as all types of commercial applications. The fiberglass resin parchment is a practical alternative to rawhide lampshades without the shrinking of natural hide. We offer shade refurbishing for original 1940s, 1950s, 1960s vintage lampshades and specialize in replacement shades for Majestic Z lamps. All shade styles can be modified to fit the specific needs of the customer by increasing or decreasing diameter and/or height or by creating a completely new style. Because we carry such a wide selection of shade styles, sizes, colors, patterns, images, and trim, the possibilities for lighting design are virtually limitless. Not only do we offer full service custom lighting for residential applications, we are a popular supplier for the hospitality industry and all types of commercial projects. In addition to fiberglass, we offer many other shade options suited for commercial use. Drum lamp shades are a very popular item in various sizes and materials. Lampshade materials such as duratrans or other photographic or printed materials, as well as a wide range of polycarbonate, vinyl, and styrene, are a popular choice for indoor/ outdoor use or food service settings where durability and resiliency is key. We offer the option of powdercoating or enamel coating our galvanized lampshade frames in any color for those looking to create their own designer lamp shades. Our 4000 square foot production facility makes us well equipped to handle large quantity orders. UL listing is available for commercial applications. The fiberglass material is inherently flameproof which qualifies it for commercial use. Also, by developing a hand dyeing system that can accommodate very large pieces of fiberglass parchment, we are the only company in the industry that is able to offer shade styles up to 48" diameter (frames in stock) x 48" tall in any color. Even larger diameter frames can be custom ordered. We also have a master welder onsite to take care of any additional modifications. The lampshade material is the same fiberglass resin parchment that was originally used when this style of lampshade was introduced back in the 1940s. The production and assembly are also the same. We have had the good fortune to locate and purchase several original, belt driven hole punch machines and presses that started their service back in the 1950s. We offer the most authentic reproduction shades possible. In addition to the classic drum style lampshades, we also offer a limitless range of custom cone sizes. A cone template can be made to accommodate any request. We have several different custom cone templates in stock and can produce any size needed. We specialize in matching color samples by using the Pantone guide, a small swatch of fabric, a paint chip, or an actual object. Custom patterns can be created to copy or compliment fabric, wallpaper, or any interior surface. Custom images or company logos can be applied to any shade with no set up fee in most cases.
