LACING & TRIM

The shade material is attached to the lampshade frame with lacing. In addition to black, chrome, gold, and white, stock vinyl lacing is available in many coordinating colors. If the lacing needs to match the lampshade color exactly, hand dyed lacing is available: $10.00 extra per shade. Silver or gold glitter lacing and clear lacing is also available. Black leather, natural leather, and rustic leather: $10.00 extra per shade. All leather colors also available in the round leather lacing: $10.00 extra per shade. Custom colors available upon request.

If the look of the whip-stitched lacing is not wanted, there is the option to add trim to the edge of any lampshade in a variety of colors. The trim is a "U" shaped vinyl that covers the front, back, and outside edge of each exposed tier of the lamp shade. It is .375" thick at the curve of the "U" and is .65" wide showing on the outside surface of the lampshade. It is much more durable than paper trim or binding and has greater holding power. Available in black, white, chrome, gold, green, aqua, grey, fawn, red, blue, brown, off-white, orange, and yellow: $10.00 - $50.00 extra per shade depending on size and number of tiers. Trim is also available in custom colors.
