H A N G I N G L I G H T S

To create a hanging lamp shade, choose one of the options pictured below. Most hanging light options are available with a single socket or 3-socket cluster (shown at right). Choose from a standard incandescent socket or an energy efficient GU24 CFL compact fluorescent socket. Either the cordset or the chain support hanging light kit can be used as a portable lamp for a hanging shade that plugs into the wall, as a hard-wired fixture connecting directly to existing ceiling wires, or for use with track lighting to create your own custom hanging track lights. The wire support hanging light kit is suited best for hard wired or track lighting applications. If track lighting is used, a convenient outlet connector (3 prong outlet) can be used to plug in a cordset or light kit into any track. Also a fixture adapter (for any cord without a plug to fit into a track) can be used. Just contact your track lighting supplier and ask for these parts. All track lighting manufacturers offer these as an alternative to regular track pendants. A lamp canopy kit is needed for hard-wiring applications and can be purchased on the Accessories page.

Just writing to let you know that the shades arrived (in Australia) safe and sound yesterday -thanks so much for the great packing!! They are fabulous - I love them. Now I just have to search for the perfect bases!
